Letter's for the first issue.

Here are the first letter's to arrive for issue no.1.

[This is the first review I've gotten. It's from ALMOST NORMAL COMICS at: https://members.tripod.com/almostnormalcomics/id112.htm]

THERE'S A NEW HERO IN TOWN AND HE IS...THE ELECTRIC WEENIE! THE WEENIE ALONG WITH HIS SIDE-KICK BEANIE TAKE TO THE STREETS OF WEINERVILLE TO DO BATTLE WITH A DEAD ARTIST AND A GIANT WEENIE ROBOT. THE ELECTRIC WEENIE #1 IS FULL OF TWISTED STORIES AND COOL ART. EACH TURN OF THE PAGE LEADS TO SOMETHING NEW AND EXCITING(AND A LITTLE BIZARRE). THE ARTWORK IS SIMPLE,FUN, AND JUST RIGHT FOR THE STORY. THE ENTIRE THING IS HAND LETTERED AND, ALTHOUGH JERRY PLANS ON USING COMPUTER LETTERING IN FUTURE ISSUES, I THINK THE HAND LETTERING REALLY COMPLIMENTS THE REST OF THE BOOK. FROM JERRY'S WRITE UP INSIDE THE FRONT AND BACK COVERS I GATHER THE WEENIE FIRST MADE HIS APPEARANCE SEVERAL YEARS AGO, BUT VANISHED AFTER A WHILE. NOW THE WEENIE IS BACK AND I THINK THE SMALL PRESS COMMUNITY WILL BE A BETTER PLACE BECAUSE OF IT. CONTACT JERRY SO YOU CAN GET YOUR HANDS ON HIS ELECTRIC WEENIE!

[Thanks for the great review! Yes, I have already converted to computer lettering beginning with issue 2. I like the way it turned out. But, if you Guy's that read my comic's don't think it works, I'll probably change it back.
This next letter is from my personal friend and a great creator, Doug Freeman.]

HEY, I JUST GOT THE ELECTRIC WEENIE IN THE MAIL--IT'S A RIOT! HOW DO YOU COME UP WITH THIS STUFF? I THINK THE COVER IS EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD--IT REALLY CATCHES YOUR ATTENTION. JUST FOR A CHANGE HOWEVER, IT MIGHT BE NICE TO CLOTHE YOUR WEENIES A BIT MORE( ESPECIALLY THE LADIES). YOU'RE WELL- KNOWN FOR DOING NICELY-DETAILED BACKGROUNDS--I'D LIKE TO SEE A BIT MORE OF THAT AS WELL.CAN'T WAIT TO SEE ISSUE#2!

[Thanks for the nice letter, Doug. You are absolutly right about the lack of background detail in this issue. My only excuse would be that it has been so long since I put out any work, I might have gotten in a little hurry to print it. I wrote, penciled, inked, and printed issue 1 in less than a month. I think you will appreciate the way issue 2 looks a little more.]
