I've been creating my own comics for over 20 years now! It's in my blood for sure. I started reading and drawing comics at about the same time in the sixth grade. These really crude books were only seen by a few friends at the time.
It was in the mid 80's while attending a comic convention I met the one and only Matt Feazell. I was blown away!! This guy was doing what I thought only I was doing. The big difference of course, he was sharing his with hundreds of folks! I bought a handful of his Cynical Man titles and started trading with him through the mail.
I was doing a little mini at the time called The Electric Weenie. Matt said it was pretty good and gave me a bunch of people's addresses that did Small Press and the rest is history.
Since then I have did several titles. Some of them are Broyles The Rabbit, Southern Fried, Rattletrap, and I did the art chores on Holey Crullers!.
I plan to post a few of the better ones here someday.
